A Georgetown man was on Friday remanded to prison after he appeared before Magistrate Annette Singh at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, charged with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.

Rondell Melville pleaded not guilty to the charge, which alleges that he had in his possession 3.072 kilograms of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.

Bail was refused, and the matter was adjourned to March 26, 2026, for further proceedings.
