Eric David, a 23-year-old construction worker of Three Miles, Bartica, Keegon Cummings, a 25-year-old construction worker also of Three Miles, Bartica, and Whitney Fraser, a 35-year-old businesswoman of Four Miles Housing Scheme, Bartica, have been charged with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
The charge was laid contrary to the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Control) Act, Chapter 10:10.
The trio appeared at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court via Zoom before Magistrate Ravindra Mohabir, where the charges were read to them.
All three pleaded not guilty and were granted bail in the sum of $500,000 each. The matter was adjourned to March 27, 2026, for continuation.
