Rishie Mangal, popularly known as “TikTok Guy,” has been released on $100,000 station bail after he was arrested on a cybercrime offence.
Guyana News Pulse understands that Mangal’s phone was confiscated, and he is required to report to the Springlands Police Station regularly.
His arrest came not long after the Ethnic Relations Commission (ERC) issued an urgent notice for three individuals, including Mangal. The Commission noted that it made more than three attempts to contact the individuals “regarding cases filed with the Commission.”
While the ERC did not provide further details regarding the cases filed, the two other wanted individuals were Tyrese Algernon and Orlando Xavier Ferreira.
Mangal is known on TikTok for his humorous videos. He also recently released a song with local artist Richard Singh titled “Cow Calf Kick Me.”
